Butterfly Milkweed, Asclepias tuberosa
This perennial also known as Butterfly weed, will bring a bright flourish to any garden with its cheery clusters of orange flowers. It grows 1-2 feet in height and up to 1.5 feet wide. Butterfly Milkweed prefers well drained sandy soil and is fairly drought and heat tolerant. Mature plants are heavy self-seeders and can become well established in an area with proper drainage and full sun.
