Our History |
The Frederick County Nature Council has been around for over 20 years. It is part of the Frederick County Association of Recreation Councils. It was originally known as the Fountain Rock Nature Council and was associated with Fountain Rock Nature Center. With the addition of Catoctin Creek Park and Nature center in 2011, the name of the group was changed to denote our focus on both parks.
