ABOUT OUR PLANTS
Every plant we offer is native  to our region. That means they are adapted to our climate and will thrive in our gardens and yards as well as provide habitat for butterflies, birds, bees, and other pollinators.

We do not carry any non-natives or even cultivars--these are genuine, wild species that will support our local ecosystem!

The plants we sell are exclusively available through our plant sale because we’ve partnered with a native plant nursery that does not sell directly to customers.

Our plants are sold in quart or gallon sizes, meaning they will be hardy, strong plants ready to look great in your garden right away.

ABOUT US
We are a small group of Maryland Master Naturalist volunteers working with the Frederick County Nature Council and the Fountain Rock Nature Center to provide you with these wild grasses and flowers. Your purchase supports the environmental mission of these organizations, including projects such as the installation of pollinator gardens, local educational programs, and environmental advocacy.
